no cookies. no analytics. no trackers.Privacy notice
What personal data this site processes, why, and the rights you hold. Every claim here can be checked against what the site actually does.
This notice covers deterministiclabs.ai (the “site”) and is addressed to everyone who visits it. Deterministic Labs (“we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described below. We apply the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) as our baseline everywhere: the rights on this page extend to every visitor, regardless of where you live. Any future products will carry their own terms.
What we collect
Nothing, by default. The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, and does not follow you across pages, sites, or time. Reading everything here leaves no record with us beyond the hosting logs described below.
If you subscribe
We collect one thing: the email address you enter, to send you the updates you asked for. It is received and stored for us by Netlify, the host that serves these pages.
If you write to us
We receive your address and whatever your message contains, and nothing more than you chose to send.
Hosting logs
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of serving any website. They exist to operate and secure the site, are kept for a limited period under the provider’s own terms, and are not used by us to identify or profile visitors.
How we use it
To send you the updates you asked for. To answer when you write to us. To keep the site available and secure. That is the whole list: we build systems whose behavior can be checked, and we hold this site to the same standard.
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not enrich your address against third-party databases.
Legal bases
Consent
For sending you updates after you subscribe. You may withdraw it at any time, and every email we send will include a way to do so.
Legitimate interests
For answering your messages and for operating and securing the site. We weigh these interests against your rights, and you may object at any time.
Legal obligation
Where the law requires us to process or disclose personal data.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site: Netlify, the host that serves these pages and receives subscription submissions on our behalf, and, when we begin sending, the provider that delivers our emails. Each processes personal data solely on our instructions and under contract. Beyond that, we disclose personal data only where the law requires it, or, in the event of a merger or acquisition, to a successor bound by this notice. A current list of providers is available on request.
International transfers
Some providers operate outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where personal data leaves the EEA we rely on recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. You may request a copy of the safeguards that apply to you.
How long we keep it
Your subscription
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Correspondence
As long as needed to resolve the matter and meet legal obligations.
On request
We remove your personal data from our active systems, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
To exercise any of these, write to hello@deterministiclabs.ai. We answer without undue delay, and at the latest within one month.
Access
A copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification
Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure
Deletion of your personal data.
Restriction
A limit on how we process it, in certain circumstances.
Portability
Your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Objection
To any processing based on our legitimate interests.
Withdrawal
Of consent, at any time, without affecting prior processing.
Complaint
With a data protection authority, in particular in the EU/EEA country where you live or work.
Children
The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served read-only over HTTPS with strict transport security, and we hold no visitor database to breach. For the little we do process, we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes
When this notice changes, the updated version appears on this page with a revised date below. Material changes to how we process subscriber data will be announced to subscribers before they take effect.
